I worked for two years, from 1983 to 1985, as an employee of the Ministry of Health of what was then the Yemen Arab Republic (North Yemen) in Sana’a. Funding for the postion was borrowed by that government from the World Bank. The main achievements involved training and development of a code of marketing for breastmilk substitutes (which only recently was enacted). This is my final report as I left (I had done quarterly reports up till then, which have most of the detail of what went on).
