Nutrition och SIDAs Hälsobyrå

This article was written for NU, News on health Care in Developing Countries, published previously by the International Child Health Unit, Uppsala University.

It provides an overview of SIDA’s involvement in nutrition, which was quite substantial in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

 Particularly important was multi-year, institution-building support to Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Zambia.

Lesotho National Health and Nutrition Survey, 1988-89. Recommendations for study design, questionnaire and manuals for nutrition component

This is my final report after working for 6 weeks for the Swedish Bureau of Statistics to assist their Basotho counterparts in planning for this national survey. After consulting with a wide range of stakeholders, a draft questionnaire and supervisor’s manual are presented.
