Evaluation of the impact of a food-based approach to solving vitamin A deficiency in Bangladesh

This paper presents detailed findings from a very large-scale evaluation of a food-based project to combat vitamin A deficiency in Bangladesh. Two probability samples were taken one year apart in an experimental district and nearby comparison subdistricts; each of the four samples covered 2500 young children and their families. Mitra & Associates did the research splendidly; I’ve never worked with a more competent organization.
