Rapid appraisal before impact evaluation studies
 
This letter to WHO Forum provided an example from the WIF blindness prevention project in Bangladesh of a simple way to assess whether there may have been impact before launching an expensive full-scale impact evaluation (which was later conducted and the publication is available here).
