This manual was published by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization and the International Life Sciences Institute. I wrote all of it except for Chapter 2.5 on food fortification, written by Venkatesh Mannar, the director of the Micronutrient Initiative, and 2.6 on communication, written by Peggy Parlato of the Academy for Educational Development. This paper is quite comprehensive up to when it was completed — in about 1996. Itself published in a hard to find journal, it reviews findings from many other hard to find sources!
