The Helen Keller International food frequency method underestimates vitamin A intake where sustained breastfeeding is common

Viveka Persson, a PhD student of mine, discovered that in a country like Bangladesh, where breastfeeding takes place for such a long period of time, it cannot be ignored as the simplified dietary assessment developed by HKI does in estimating community vitamin A intakes for young children.
